About

Learning, with friends.

BCFS Kids Club is the youngest of our programs and the most reliable. Two weeknight sessions per week, ages 7-12. Sundays focus on math fundamentals through games and puzzles; Tuesdays are chess: opening principles, tactics, and a friendly weekly ladder. Volunteer parents run snack. Everyone gets a turn.

01
Maths through play
Sunday sessions use games, puzzles, and gentle competitions. Pre-algebra to early algebra.
02
Chess for kids

03

The program

What kids actually do.

Three pillars: maths, chess, friendship. The first two come with a curriculum; the third is on the house.

Sundays

Maths Circle

Number sense, basic algebra, pattern recognition. Through puzzles and quick-fire games — never a worksheet.

Tuesdays

Chess Club

Beginners start with opening principles. Intermediate kids run a weekly ladder with reset every term.

Always

Snack + Play

Sessions wrap with snack from volunteer parents and 20 minutes of free play. Parents welcome to stay.
