Cricket enthusiasts across the community are gearing up for an exciting day of sports and camaraderie as BCFS Sports officially announces its much-anticipated Outdoor Cricket Tournament 2026, set to take place on Sunday, August 9th at Don Bayer Sports Field in Dartmouth.
Cricket Returns This Summer
The event promises a fast-paced and engaging format, featuring a T7 (7 overs per side) competition designed to deliver high-energy matches in a condensed format. The tournament will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with organizers encouraging teams and spectators to arrive early for a full day of action.
Tournament Format and Competition
The tournament will bring together six teams, divided into two groups competing in a round-robin format. Each group winner will advance to the finals, setting the stage for a thrilling championship showdown.
According to BCFS Sports, the format is designed to ensure maximum participation, excitement, and competitive balance throughout the day. Teams will compete for top honors, with trophies awarded to both champions and runners-up.
